Mason graduated from Glenville State College in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management – Land Surveying. He began his surveying career with Allegheny Surveys as an Instrument Man and Rodman and quickly became proficient in all types of surveys, including boundary surveys, GPS, topographic, and site surveys. Mason has completed numerous projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at dams located throughout West Virginia and Ohio. He has also worked on multiple U.S. Forest Service boundary surveys. He obtained his license as a Professional Surveyor in West Virginia in July 2023, and in March 2024 Mason was elected as the WV Society of Professional Surveyors Young Surveyors Chapter Rep.
