William G. Yetzer, PL, EIT
Senior Party Chief, Bridgeport
Office
Graduated from the University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis, MN with a B.S. Civil
Engineering degree awarded December 1994.
In 1987, Bill. Yetzer began working summers
at Donohue Engineers and Surveyors. Bill
was introduced to surveying while serving as
a rod man, and eventually an instrument
operator on a survey crew. In the fall of
1989, Mr. Yetzer gained year round
employment with the City of Richfield,
Minnesota. Bill gained real world
experience as an Engineering Technician
while continuing to be a full time student.
Bill’s primary duties with the City were to
serve as an inspector and surveyor on
various public improvement projects. After
obtaining a Bachelors of Science Degree in
Civil Engineering, Bill moved to Eagle,
Colorado and began working for Alpine
Engineering. At Alpine, Mr. Yetzer
performed numerous boundary, topographic,
and construction surveys. He served as a
liaison between clients and the survey
department. He also managed and scheduled
the survey crews and CAD technicians. From
1998 to 2001 Bill moved to the Fort Collins,
Colorado area and worked as a project
surveyor for both JR Engineering and
Frederick Land Surveying. As a project
surveyor, he managed and scheduled all field
and office surveying personnel. He created
all types of land division plats, boundary
surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys,
and performed construction-staking
calculations. Mr. Yetzer pursued a new
challenge when offered a position at KRW
Consulting. KRW needed a person to start a
surveying department from the ground up.
Bill excelled in this role and before coming
to Marcin Engineering; KRW had both a
profitable and reputable surveying
division. At Allegheny Surveys, Inc., Bill
brings a proven leadership and management
style that will allow Allegheny Surveys to
continue to be a surveying leader in both
the Bridgeport area and across West
Virginia. Bill is licensed as a West
Virginia Professional Surveyor since June
2010.
