Cathodic Protection Division-Close Interval Surveys

Allegheny Surveys, Inc. now offers Close Interval Surveys to the pipeline industry, employing state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained personnel. For the past several years, Allegheny Surveys, Inc. has performed Centerline and Feature Location and Depth of Cover Surveys on almost 2,000 miles of pipeline in West Virginia and Pennsylvania for inclusion into our various clients' GIS databases. The inclusion of Close Interval Surveys with this service seems a natural fit, and gives the firm another dimension to its services.

Michael Salmons leads the Cathodic Protection Division. He is a Pipeline Corrosion Specialist with 29 years of experience with Columbia Gas Transmission. He is certified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (N.A.C.E) as a Cathodic Protection Technician Level-2 and as an Internal Corrosion Technologist.
